Jeremy Zahn (Tunica-Biloxi/Choctaw), a recipient of the 2018 NCAIED 40 Under 40 Award, is reimagining the way we see grant writing in Indian Country. As a former Council Member of the Tunica Biloxi Indian Tribe, he developed the Tribe’s first health clinic, established an urban Indian center, and secured membership rights for over 200 children, marking an era of remarkable progress for the Tribe. In 2022, Zahn extended his impact by launching the first K-12 education and anti-human trafficking programs for Native Americans in Texas. His exceptional contributions have been recognized by the University of Arizona, the Governor of Texas, and numerous federal agencies. With a diverse portfolio spanning more than 40 tribal government and Native-serving clients, Zahn has emerged as a preeminent authority in the intricate domains of grant writing, nation-building, and complex tribal enrollment matters.
